Frankfort - Mr. Dominick "Ming" Oriolo, 87, formerly of Sixth Ave. passed away, Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017 in the Masonic Home. He was born in Frankfort on June 6, 1929, the son of the late Joseph and Mamie Sylvester Oriolo and he attended Frankfort schools. He was married to Marie Mazza Sanders on January 17, 1970 in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel, Utica. Marie passed away on February 20, 2016. Dominick was a Machinist for Kelsey Hayes in Utica until his retirement in 1984. He was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Dominick is survived by one son and daughter in law, David and Sheila Sanders of Frankfort; his daughter in law, Margaret Sanders of Oneida; four grandchildren, Davina, Frank, Jonathan and Teddy; his in laws, Donald Marrone, Mamie Oriolo and Carl and Sharon Mazza and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one son, Donald Sanders on January 21, 2015; two sisters, Eleanor Kinney and Agnes Marrone and four brothers, Joseph Oriolo, Nick Oriolo, Alex Oriole and Frank "Hunt" Oriole. His funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St., Frankfort, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. His funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
