Mr. Ralph Edward Guerino,, Jr. West Palm Beach - Schuyler - Mr. Ralph Edward Guerino,, Jr., 90, formerly of Olympia Dr. West Palm Beach and presently of Schuyler passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 in St. Luke's Home with his family by his side. He was born in Utica, NY on May 17, 1926, the son of the late Ralph and Marie Doris Scala Guerino, Sr. and he attended Utica schools. He served with the US Navy during World War II in the Atlantic Ocean and was Honorably Discharged on October 2, 1945 with the rank of SC3. He was married to Martha Edith Wafful in Ilion on December 11, 1954. Martha passed away on February 2, 2002. Ralph was an Adjuster for NYS Lands Claim Adjuster until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the Ilion Elks BPOE Lodge #1444. Ralph is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Ralph and Tammy Guerino III of Ilion and Robert and JoAnn Wheeler of Frankfort; two daughters and one son in law, Marianne and Glenn Piaschyk of Utica and Barbara Wheeler of Ilion; one brother, Richard Guerino of West Palm Beach, FL; one sister and brother in law, Pam And Pat Kirkland of TX; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. His funeral will be held at the convenience of the family. Spring interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Ralph's funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J.Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., Frankfort.
