Mrs. Rose C. Zennamo Frankfort - Mrs. Rose C. Zennamo, 76, of 401 Palmer St. passed away, Sunday, October 16, 2016 in her home with her family by her side. She was born in Ilion on June 12, 1940, the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Tripple Sweet and she attended Frankfort schools. She was married to Mathew Matteo Zennamo on November 5, 1988 in Las Vegas. Rose's beloved Matty passed away on February 14, 2016. Rose was employed at Remington Arms Co. for thirty years and six months until her retirement in 2000. Following her retirement she was a clerk at the Melrose Market, Frankfort for 14 happy years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, a member of the St. Francis Di Paolo Society Aux. and the Tilden Ave. Rosary Group. Rose is survived by her beloved and cherished family; two sons and one daughter in law, Ronald Fobare of Rochester and Gregory and Susan Fobare of Ilion; her daughter, Suzette Wright and her companion, Jon Weber of Ilion; two sisters, Phyllis Fraccola of Frankfort and Bernadette Enjem of Ilion; one brother, Joseph Sweet, Sr. of Frankfort; one step son and daughter in law, Mathew and Joan Zennamo, Jr. of Frankfort; three step daughters and one and son in law, Cynthia Lubas of Utica, Diane and John Langone of Whitesboro and Theresa Ann Licari of New York City; eight grandchildren, Alexis Fobare and her companion, Kyle McGovern, Ashleigh and her husband, Joshua Allen, Nicole Fobare, Janasa Franco and her fiancé Christopher Livingston, Justina Franco and her companion, Michael Tines, Lynn Rose Wright, Deanna and her husband, Christopher Butera and Jason Lubas; two great-grandchildren, Emma Butera and Brayden Fobare; her in laws, Eda Langone of Utica and Mary Jane Zennamo of Middleville; her beloved canine, Matteo and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Matty; her parents, Angelo and Mary Sweet and her brother in law, August "Gus" Fraccola. Her funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 9:45 from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:30 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, October 18 from 4-8 PM in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Members of the St. Francis Society Auxiliary will meet Tuesday evening at 6 PM for services. Contributions in Rose's memory may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care, 4277 Middle Settlement Rd, New Hartford, NY 13413. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
