Frankfort - Ms. Geralyn M. "Gigi" Ruffule, 56, of 303 Palmer St. passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in her home with her family by her side. She was born in Utica on March 25, 1960, the daughter of Vincent "Jim" and Carmelita Amato Aiello. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort Schuyler High School with the class of 1978. Gigi was employed in the cafeteria for Frankfort Schuyler Central School District. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Gigi is survived by her mother, Carm Aiello; three sons, Frank Frank of Frankfort, Ryan Frank of West Winfield and Robert Ruffule of Frankfort; one daughter, Carli Ruffule of Frankfort; her former husband and best friend, Bobby Ruffule of Frankfort; two brothers and sisters in law, Anthony and Lori Aiello and Vincent Aiello, all of Frankfort; two sisters and brothers in law, Paula and William Knapp of Syracuse and Sherri and Michael Evanchak of Schuyler and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Vincent "Jim" Aiello on August 1, 2006 and her sister, Frances P. Aiello on November 16, 1954. Her funeral will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Frankfort.
