Mrs. Rose M. Piazza Frankfort - Mrs. Rose M. Piazza, 86, of 333 Second Avenue, passed away peacefully, Saturday, March 19, 2005 in Folts Home, Hekimer. Mrs Piazza was born on October 12, 1918, in Frankfort, the daughter of the late James and Cecilia Damico Caiola. She was united in marriage on October 9, 1943, to Salvatore "Sam" C. Piazza in Frankfort. Mr. Piazza passed away on November 22, 2001. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort and a member of the Friends of the Library and Addolorata Society. She loved gardening and flowers. Rose was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister who will be missed greatly by all of her family and friends. Mrs. Piazza is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law; Mary Lou and Maurice Laramee of Ontario and Marguerite and Ronal Gamble of Herkimer; her seven grandchildren, Antonia and Joseph, Marie, Christina, Michael, Marybeth and Rosemarie; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Sam Caiola, Joe and Rachel Caiola, Peter and Tina Caiola and Charles and Angie Caiola; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Fanny Nicolette, Florence Caiola, Joan Murphy and Cecilia and Ray Morton; her in-laws, Vito and Brenda Piazza and John and Angela Piazza, and several nieces, nephews and god children. Rose was predeceased by her sister, Mary Ruffalo. Her Funeral Services will be held at 9:45 AM, Tuesday, March 22, 2005 from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort, and 10:30 AM, March 22, 2005 from Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Yanas, Pastor. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Monday, March 21, 2005 at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Rose's family would like to thank the entire staff at the Folts Home, Alterra Clare Bridge Cottage and those who cared for her at her home for all of their loving and compassionate care.
