I am so sorry to read of the passing of Sara Sue. She did my mom's hair for a long time but more than that she was such a good friend to her. Always so kind to all of us. We reconnected on Facebook a while back and I am so glad we did.

Going to miss my long time hair stylist. Never forget asking Sarah Sue to come with me to an Orleans concert at the Stanley theatre and being yelled at by a couple behind us for dancing and singing all the songs! (we eventually moved our seat). God bless you and family, sincerest sympathy.

Sara Sue and I developed an immediate friendship years ago. Our mutual love of sarcasm and quick-witted humor filled our workplace with laughter. Her laughter and smile was contagious, she wouldn’t let you stay in a bad mood. Her optimism was never ending. We shared tears, fears, frustration and laughter. I am so incredibly sad she has left us. I will miss my “Snarky” friend and will carry her in my heart, forever.

Sara was so much to me, a mentor, a best friend, a fill in grandma to my kids and known as my mom #2. Always a part of my children’s celebrations and with me during my daughters births.
