From the day I met her as a member of the Search Committee when I first came to HCCC in a fulltime capacity, she remained faithful and committed. Larraine was the kindest, most helpful person to me when I started working at HCCC in 2005. She was funny and fashionable, and proud to be a member of the first graduating class of HCCC (when it was in Ilion). She loved her husband and her son deeply, and was grateful for what life had brought her. I send my deepest condolences to her family and friends, and I will remember her smile and laugh forever.

One of my favorite people at HCCC. She was one who made my experience as a student library worker very memorable. Larraine had lots of chutzpah and a big heart. Her loss is very heartfelt. I wish I could be there to give my personal condolences to John and Joshua and to remember and celebrate Larraine with old friends and co-workers. She was a shining light to me and many others. John, Josh and Hannah I am so sorry for your loss. I was deeply saddened when I heard the news of Larranie's passing. She was a great friend for almost 50 years. She was the type of person who if you didn't see them for awhile you could just pick up a conversation as it in had only been a short time since you last spoke. She had a kind and caring heart.
