Christine M. Roe

Ilion - Christine M. Roe of Ilion passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Valley Health Services.

She was born in Ilion, New York, the daughter of the late Robert K. and Elizabeth Betty Madigan Roe. Christine attended Ilion schools and graduated from Ilion High School, she later attended Careerco for Para Professionals, Syracuse, and received her Bachelor's Degree.

Christine was at one time employed by DanDee Donuts and then as a Secretary for Frankfort Schuyler Central School District and later for Ilion Homestead. She was a communicant of Annunciation Church, Ilion.  

Christine is survived by her two sisters and two brothers in law, Betty Jane and Randy Stone of Ilion, and Cheryl and Constantine Arcella of Long Island; her niece, Jackie Roberts of Utica; two nephews Charles Roberts III and his fiancée, Amanda of Chicago, IL, and Francis and his wife, Jessica Bowman of Ilion; her great nieces and nephew, Coroline, Lilly, Alice and Francis the fifth, and several cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, Mark Roe.
 

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 10:30 AM in Annunciation Church, 109 West St., Ilion, NY, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Paul Catena, Pastor. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery later this spring. There will be no public calling hours. Her funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.
