Thomas D. Maneen
Frankfort - Thomas D. Maneen, 85, of Frankfort passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 in Foltsbrook with his family by his side.
He was born in Ilion, New York on February 27, 1940, the son of the late Salvatore and Vita Pulizzi Maneen. He attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort Schuyler High school with the class of 1958. He later attended and graduated from MVCC in 1960 and received his Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Tech, Utica in advertising, design and photography.
He was married to Elizabeth McMahon on October 23, 1965 in St. Mary's Church.
Tom taught Graphic Arts and Photography for MVCC, Utica for over 35 years. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.
Tom is survived by his beloved wife, Liz of Frankfort; three sons and one daughter-in-law, Thomas Maneen Sr. of Frankfort, Patrick Maneen and Shawn and Dr Cari Maneen all of Raleigh, NC, his daughter-in-law, Elaine Maneen; two sisters in law and one brother in law, Peggy Maneen and Joseph and Renee Camarata all of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Whitney and her husband, Alexson Arana, Kayla Maneen, Thomas Maneen Jr., Michael Maneen, Nicholas Maneen, Ava Maneen and Christopher Maneen; two great grandchildren, Ellie Rose Arana and Ayden Arana and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his daughter-in-law, Cindy Maneen; his brothers, James Maneen, Baldassario (Baldy) Maneen, Vincent Maneen and Joseph Maneen and two sisters, Julia Casamento and Josephine Davis.
His funeral will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 9:45 AM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery later this spring. Calling hours will be Monday, April 14 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home Inc. 203 Second Ave., Frankfort.
His funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.
