To the entire Jacopelle Family..
So sad to hear the news, But ...oh what memories I have, years worth.. and they all seem to end with a smile.. How blessed I was to have had you for friends,so many years, I am glad I was able to get to see Leonard not all that long ago, and we shared some memories ourselves. Leonard was the kind of person, all one had to do was mention his name, and stories would start.. and laughter.. he was a good man,and I will miss knowing that he is no longer on this earth. Hopefully you will see Jim at one point during this sad time, but if not, I know that he always had thought of Leonard as one of his best friends. What great times we all shared together.. And I was lucky enough to have started being in the Jacopelle family wayyyyyy back when I was a kid, sharing times with Joanne and colorguard.. funny how things end up.. I just want you all to know how very much Leonard meant to me.. He will forever be in my thoughts and memories. and I thank all of you for allowing me to have shared in all of your lives.how blessed I have been.
Just a month ago, I lost my Mother, and this just brings the facts of live even more in the face, I know this is the course we are to take, but it is still doesn't make it any easier to bear.
Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time, and I so wanted to be able to make it down. Sorry,it just couldn't be done. I will be in touch with Jean, and with luck some of the family will still be here.
In sympathy and life long friendship,
Love
Pattie

Dear Aunt Jean,
I will never forget the times you and Uncle Len spent with my grandparents (Sam and Lena). A majority of my childhood was spent in the basement of Center Street listening to family conversation and eating fresh cold meats! Those memories are imbedded in my heart.
