Obituary of Janice C. Reynolds

Mrs. Janice C. Reynolds Cold Brook - Mrs. Janice C. Reynolds, 75, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Herkimer on December 6, 1941, the daughter of the late Leo and Josephine Janiec Synenki and she graduated from Mohawk High School with the class of 1959. She was married to Charles L. Reynolds on June 22, 1963 in Dennison Corners Church. Charles passed away November 9, 2007. Janice was employed as an Executive Secretary for the Hamilton County Department of Soil and Water for 30 Years. She was a member of Missionary Alliance Church in the Town of Ohio and Adirondack Bible Chapel in Lake Pleasant. Janice is survived by two sons and daughters in law, John Henry Reynolds and his wife Keisha and Floyd Reynolds and his wife, Wi Wilai; two daughters and sons in law, Laurie Ann and Alfonso Villar and Mary and Charles Luther; fifteen grandchildren, Conrad Bottorff, Justine Bottorff, Maximilian Bottorff, Taylor Bottorff, Regina Reynolds, Elias Nathaniel Martinezes, Israel Charles Reynolds, John Henry Reynolds, Jaid Luther, Kyle Luther, Lucas Luther, Floyd Reynolds, Jr., Anna Reynolds, Hanna Reynolds and Grace Reynolds; seven great-grandchildren, Katie Bottorff, Christopher Bottorff, Zacharey Bottorff, Olivia Luther, Logan Drake, Raphel Holmes and Charlie Luther; one brother and sister in law, Michael Leo Synenki and his wife Elsie; one brother in law, and Gerald Coyne and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Margaret Coyne and her step father, Arthur Cotton. Her funeral will be held Monday, May 29, 2017 at 10:00 in the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St., Herkimer. Interment will be in Morehouseville Cemetery. In keeping with Janice's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Janice's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Town of Morehouse Volunteer Ambulance Company and to the Staff at St. Elizabeth's Hospital for the kindness and compassion shown to Janice. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Janice's memory may be made to Morehouse Volunteer Ambulance Company, P.O. Box 60, Hoffmeister, NY 13353. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
