Clinton – Mr. Michael John Caporale, 80, of Clinton passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 in the Grand.

 

He was born in Utica, New York on December 18, 1941, the son of the late Michael and Theresa Montemurro Caporale. He attended New Hartford schools and graduated from New Hartford High School. He was at one time married to Sharon Melious. He was predeceased by his companion, Josephine Cieslak on April 9, 2019.  Michael was employed as a Meat Cutter for Price Chopper, Mohawk St., Utica for many years.

  

Michael is survived by one daughter, Amy Mancini of Frankfort; two sons and one daughter in law, Philip Caporale of Rome and Michael and his wife, Kelly Caporale of Afton NY; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by one daughter, Tammy Caporale on June 28, 2021 and one sister, Marie Royce on November 5, 2008.  
  

His funeral will be held in the spring of 2022. His funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort. .
