Catherine Giammona

 

Utica - Catherine Giammona, 61, of Utica passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in St. Luke's Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

 

She was born in New York City on January 4, 1962, the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Roberts Giammona. She was a devout catholic.

 

Catherine is survived by her companion of many years, Pedro Cardona of Whitesboro; two sons, Eddie Irizarry of Utica and Pedro Giammona of New Hartford NY, NY; three brothers and one sister in law,   Joseph and his wife, Dee Giammona, Anthony Giammona all of Queens NY and David Giammona of Manhattan NY; one sister, Denise Romano of Queens NY; grandson - Santino Irizarry and several nieces, nephews and cousins.                                        

She was predeceased by he sister, Frances Giammona.
 

Her funeral will be held Saturday, July 1, 2023 at 10:00 AM in St Mary of Mt Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Church, Jay St Utica, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. James Cesta.

 

Her funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.
