To the family of andrea,
There are no words to ease the loss of such a sweet person! Andrea and I were in elementary school together and although i moved away we would bump into each other around the valley and we always paused to talk to each other! I feel a sadness in hearing she was taken away from her loved ones at such a young age, but knowing she is no longer suffering helps ease the sadness! I will always remember her smile- as it was something she shared with many! She will continue to smile down upon us!! May she rest in peace!

Aunt Betsy and Uncle Junior. The follwoing is from a friend of mine in Vermont. She would would communicate online with Andrea about the disease they both battled.
Tony,
I adapted a poem, written by our colleague, Cindy Gubb - for Andrea. Cindy's poem is titled "Warrior Women". Her poem is about the fight we go through with Breast Cancer.
This is my version for Andrea:
Oh Warrior Woman, strong - full of love and life.
You fought your battle, your head held high.
The battle you fought was hard,
Your scars - a constant reminder,
Your spirit everlasting,
Your body weary, but your shoulders did not bow!
Oh Warrior Woman, your battle cry rang clear,
Your armor heavy, your sword thrust out,
You met and challenged your fear.
In stealth, the enemy came upon you,
You could not see it there.
It stole your health,
Made you sick, and sacrificed your hair.
But God, your faith and love of your family,
And life kept you strong.
You lived life to the fullest, until the very end.
You did so with faith and courage strong.
Oh Warrior Woman, God has called you home.
Your spirit is now with us, your family, and loved ones.
Your are an inspiration to us all.
We love you Andrea, and will miss you dearly.
No more suffering, no more surgery,
Poking or prodding.
No more Chemo, or medicines to take on a daily basis,
That wear your body down.
Oh Warrior Woman, friends and loved ones
Will see you daily,
Shining through the lives of your children.
Do not worry.
God will protect and take care of your family.
You are in Heaven now.
Your Love, Strength, Courage, and
Inspiration will shine down on us forever!
With Great Respect and Love,
Debbie

My thoughts and Prayer are with Keving Brandon, David Mr and Mrs Cirelli Vince and Joey. I've been friends with Andrea since we were children growning up around the block on the "South -Side" of Herkimer. I am blessed with so many memories. Adrea was an amazing woman who could light up a room with her ever showing smile, just as beautiful on the inside as on the out. She is a Angel who earn her wings many years ago and now she is free to use them, soaring the Heavan's free from pain to watch over us. With a heavy heart I say rest in peace my dear friend. Your memories with live on in our hearts. love you always

Kevin, David, Brandon, Tony & Betsy...Where to begin...you had the best wife, mother, daughter anyone could ask for and she was the best friend I could ever have. She was always there for me and my family and we had the most memorable times together. She will be in our hearts forever. I am so sad to not have her by my side any more but I know I will meet up with her again. God has gained another Angel and I believe this one will be his best. I love you Andrea and hope you are at peace now.

My heart goes out to the Cirelli and Hilsinger families. Andrea was so much more than a friend to me for many years. She was family. She was always the voice of reason and always a great friend. Her smile and laughter were contagious. Eventhough we haven't lived in the same state for 11years she was a constant. We often spoke on facebook and you could always count on her to ask how my sister was doing with her cancer fight. She'd offer her prayers and words of encouragement. Typical Andrea thinking of everyone else first. Eventhough her time with us all has been way to short she has left us all with the blessed gift of knowing her. You can't help but smile when you think of her. I will miss her deeply and take comfort knowing she in a much better place smiling down on all of us. God Bless you all.

Mr. & Mrs. Cirelli - Kevin and boys,
I am so saddened by the news of Andrea's passing. She was one of my 2 best friends all through middle and highschool - we did everything together and I have memories that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Two years ago I was lucky enough to reconnect with Andrea and have stayed in constant touch ever since. Yesterday I spent hours rereading the hundreds of emails that we have shared since our reconnection. The last time we spoke was just over a week ago and she was so happy to be going on her trip to FL with her dad. I also was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with her at the end of November and it was marvelous, a memory of happiness and laughter that I will forever hold in my heart. I will miss her dearly and am a better person for having known her. She was truely an angel sent to us from god and will forever be watching over all of us. I know words can not help you with your pain right now but I hope knowing that she was loved by so many of us helps a little.
With love,
Mary Lou 'Martin' Herringshaw
