I sit here with tears running down my face as I read Susan's obituary. I have searched and searched for her for so long...and I am so sad to read this.
Susan was one of the best friends I ever had . We met at Fulton Montgomery in 1967 and she was my maid of honor in our wedding in 1969 ( we lived in Ithaca, NY at that time) and her precious mom made my wedding dress! I loved Susan as a sister and I am so sorry we didn't keep in touch.
Joe, I don't know if you remember me..but we did meet a couple times when I came home with Susan for weekends. I am so very sorry for your loss and also for the loss of your son.
Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences. I will keep all of your family in my prayers.

It's difficult to find words that will properly convey my empathy for your sadness and loss.
I will always remember Sue for her sincere and genuine interest in others' welfare and a smile that was contagious. Whenever I talked with her, she had a way of making me feel like I had been with a very special person.
Keep in mind that she can watch over all of you with an even greater love now.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So He put His arms around you and whispered "come to me." With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
Please accept my heartfelt sympathy
