Obituary of Donna J. Thurston

Herkimer - Ms. Donna J. Thurston, 62, of 269 N. Main St., passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010, peacefully in her home.
She was born in Detroit, MI on June 16, 1948 and she and her family relocated to the Mohawk Valley where she attended local schools. Donna was of the Baptist faith.
Donna is survived by one son, Scott Thurston and one daughter, Chrissy Thurston both of Herkimer, her twin sister, Janette Sanderson of Ilion and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one son, Matthew Thurston.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 12:00 PM in the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer with the Rev. Patti Lawrence, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Herkimer officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 10:00 - 12:00 noon at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home.
