Three Springs, PA - Mohawk - Mrs.Pauline L. Spytko, 83, of Rd 1 Box 2541 Three Springs, PA formerly of Mohawk passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009 in Woodland Retirement Center. She was born in Three Springs, PA on November 18, 1926, the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Elkovich Loope and she attended schools there. She was married to Walter Spytko on May 3, 1952 in St. Michael's Orthodox Church, Wood, Pa. Mr. Spytko passed away on August 31, 1992. She was at one time employed by Federal Telephone & Radio, N.J., later by Hiteman Leather Co., West Winfield and General Electric, Broad St. Plant. Mrs. Spytko worked as Stenciler for M.D.S. Herkimer until retirement in 1980. She was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church and it's Sisterhood and the AARP. Pauline is survived by one sister, Mary Hall of Three Springs, PA, one brother, George Loope of Three Springs, PA and several beloved, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by six brothers, Michael Loope, Stephen Loope, Nicholas Loope, Metro Loope, William Loope and John Loope and four sisters, Stella Zabatsky, Frances Loope, Susan Loope and Ann Corman Her funeral will be held Monday, December 28, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St. Herkimer and at 11:30 AM in S.S. Peter And Paul Orthodox Church with the Rev. Fr. James Worthington, Pastor officiating. Spring interment will be in SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home. Parastas will be held Monday morning at 10:50 at the funeral home with Father Worthington officiating.
