Frankfort - Mr. Pasquale Patt Diliberto, 86, of 107 Skiff Ave passed away peacefully Sunday, January 4, 2009 in his home with his family by his side. He was born in San Giuseppe Jato, Province of Palermo, Sicily on January 6, 1922, the son of the late Salvatore and Gaetana Bernardino Diliberto and he attended schools there. Patt served with the Italian Army during WWII and was a Prisoner of War in Russia. He was married to Angela Alagna on February 12, 1953 in San Giuseppe Jato. Mr. Diliberto was employed by Union Tools, Frankfort for many years until his retirement in 1987. He was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Our family has come together as our father now dwells in the house of the Lord. His soul has been restored and we are at peace with the goodness he has bestowed upon us all throughout his life. Life was not meant to be a Garden of Eden, yet mercy shall follow me all the days of my life for the highest standards of integrity, love and benevolence that our father shared with each of us. The world is a better place because he dwelt upon it and his legacy will be carried on through shared memories that each of his family members will have. Even in his last days, he was a righteous man and a caring soul. He is blessed. Besides the still waters and green pastures, his life is renewed. Pasquale is survived by his beloved wife, Angela Diliberto, three daughters & sons in law, Ida & Dominick Bellino of Frankfort, Rosalia & Salvatore Tocco of Hopkinton, MA and Louisa & Jeff Moreau of Ilion; two sons and one daughter in law, Salvatore & Jennifer Diliberto of Fairview Heights, IL, Frank Diliberto at home; one brother, Joseph Diliberto of Palmyra; his grandchildren, Dominick & his wife, Andrea Bellino, Charles & his wife, Jenny Bellino, Cristina Bellino, Michael Bellino, Christopher Tocco, Stephen Tocco, Jennifer Moreau, Jeffrey Moreau Jr, Anthony Diliberto and Alexandria Diliberto; three great grandchildren, Luca, Aiden and Hannah and several nieces, nephews and cousins. His funeral will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 am from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:30 am in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev.
