Mrs. Martha Kittle Dulak Frankfort - Mrs. Martha Kittle Dulak, 77, of S. Litchfield St. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Folts Home with her family by her side. She was born in Clarksburg, WV on January 19, 1940, the daughter of the late Monzel and Mable Kittle. Though she relocated to Central New York in 1958, she always remembered her life growing up in West Virginia with her five siblings. Among the happiest times in her life were those when she was reunited with her brothers and sisters. She was married to Louis E. Dulak on August 27, 1966 in Ilion United Methodist Church. Louis passed away on May 8, 1987. Martha and her late husband, Louis were the co-owners and operators of Dulak Cleaners and Laundry and Dulak Marine for over 22 years. After the death of her husband, Martha successfully assumed sole ownership of Dulak Cleaners until her retirement in 2006. Martha was formerly a member of the Tramp and Trail hiking group and enjoyed exploring our region's many Adirondack Trails. She was a member of the Frankfort United Methodist Church and taught Sunday School from 1972 to 1975. Singing brought her great joy, and with her beautiful alto voice, she was an active member of the church choir for many years. Martha's outgoing personality, kind spirit, and bright blue eyes made her truly unforgettable to those who were fortunate to know her. Martha is survived by her three children, Stephanie and and her husband, David Eghigian of Remsen, Richard Dulak of Ilion and Curtis Dulak of Frankfort; her grandsons and great granddaughters, Jonathan and Karen Penree and their daughters, Reghan and London of SC, Justin Penree Atoji and Makoto Penree Atoji and their daughters, Aya and Nico of Japan, Louis Dulak of Frankfort and Richard Miles Kozinski of Frankfort; her beloved sister, Roberta Wine, with whom she shared her birthday, and many special nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, one sister, a sister in law, and two brothers in law including Rev. Sam Kittle, Jack Kittle and Francis Kittle, Alfred Kittle, Glen and Ramona Schaffer and Blaine Wine. Her funeral will be held Thursday evening at 5:30 PM in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort. Interment will be in Oak View Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 4:00 -5:30 PM at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
