Mrs. Maria Rabuano Springfield, VT. - Frankfort - Mrs. Maria Rabuano, 87, of Chester Rd., Springfield, VT. and of Bee St., Frankfort passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Springfield Health and Rehab. She was born in Abbadia San Salvatore, Province of Benevento, Italy on January 2, 1930, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Carmella Pacelli and she attended schools there. She was married to Biagio "Benny" Rabuano on August 12, 1956 in St. Mary's Church, San Salvatore Telesino, Italy. The family came to the United States in November of 1956, settling in Frankfort. Biagio passed away on February 14, 1992. Maria was a Seamstress for Leslie Fay Dress Shop, Mohawk, for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Apostles Church. Maria is survived by two sisters, Antonietta and Lisa, and one brother, Tomaso all of Italy and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter, Theresa Rabuano on March 23, 2015. Her funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday morning from 9:00 until the time of the services at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. Maria's extended family would like to that the nurses and staff of Springfield Health and Rehab and especially Pat Lowden for the wonderful care and kindness shown to here during her stay and passing.
