Mr. James Arthur Gregory Frankfort - Mr. James Arthur Gregory, 84, of 128 Cemetery St passed away peacefully Thursday, April 10, 2014 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center. He was born in Rome on April 2, 1930, the son of the late Charles and Jeanette Boenlein Levison. He attended Rome schools and graduated from St. Aloysius Academy. He later attended Utica College and received two Masters Degree in English Education and Audio Visual. Jim served with the US Navy during the Korean War and was Honorably Discharged on April 10,1953. He was at one time employed as a Contract Specialist at Griffiss Air Force Base and later taught high school in Herkimer and Ilion schools. James is survived by one brother and sister in law, John and Karol Sawatka of San Antonio, TX.; one sister, Charlene Haas of San Antonio, TX and his nephews and nieces, Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Campbell and family, Marsha and Ken Sahms and family and Scott and Helen Campbell and family. He was predeceased by two sisters, Jacqueline Campbell, and Veronica Ocain His funeral will be held Monday morning at 11:00 AM in the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with the Rev Fr, Michael Bundz, pastor of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Church, officiating. Interment will be in Saratoga National Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday morning, April 14 from 9:00 to 11:00 am at V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc..
