My grandfather was an amazing man. He always made me laugh. He inspires me to this day. If it weren't for him I wouldn't be as strong as I am. I love and miss you grandpa ❤️

To my second family: I hope you know how much I love you all and how very sorry I am for Matt's passing. I had nothing but the most respect for him. He was funny, respectful, fair. Even the Sunday morning polka music was great to hear. You knew all was well with the world when you heard that polka. And that weekend spent at his house in Forestport snowmobiling will be a cherished memory for life. I wish I could be there in person to show you my condolences. Much love to all of you and may your pain be lessened by how much he was loved.

Mike, I'm happy to hear that your Dad will still be at Dover. My memories go way back to when we in school, snowmobiling every chance we could. Your dad always had this real calm in his voice. He was a very good man that I know you'll always keep those fond memories close.

Dad, I will never forget the times at the snowmobile shop and the rides we took on our sleds. The sat. nights at Fonda , cheering for Lou and drinking beer will always be cherished memories, along with the camping trips and working on cars together. You will always be with me for Sunday NASCAR. and don't worry, you WILL be at Dover. I Love you Dad, your son Mike.
