Frankfort - Mrs. Yolanda Tripple, 87, of 120 Sheldon Blvd. passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 in Sitrin Health Care Center. She was born in Herkimer on July 25, 1926, the daughter of the late Anthony and Antoinette Pacini and she attended Herkimer schools. She was married to Dominick F. Tripple on February 19, 1947 in Herkimer. Dominick passed away on May 29, 1984. Yolanda was employed with GE, Utica for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church. Yolanda is survived by her daughter, Jeanette Parrotta; three grandsons, James M. Tripple of Dallas, TX, Sgt. Mark A. Tripple and his wife, Ingrid, serving with the US Army in Ft. Drum and Petty Officer 2nd class Matthew J. Tripple and his wife, Jill, serving with the US Navy in Norfolk, VA; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Ottavia Maida of PA and Palma Ambrosewicz of Herkimer; one brother, Joseph Pacini of Herkimer; her sisters in law, Mary Pacini and Helen Tripple and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two sons, Richard Tibber Tripple on January 12, 2006 and James Tripple on March 10, 2007; two brothers, Sam Pacini and Dino Pacini and two sisters, Alda Pacini and Mary Sgroi. Her funeral will be held Friday morning at 10:00 from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:30 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena and assisted by Deacon James Bower. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday morning from 8:00-10:00 at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
