Mary P. Branck
Ilion - Mary P. Branck, 88 years, formerly of Shady Creek Estates passed away on Monday November 13, 2017 in the Folts Home.
She was born on Thursday November 15, 1928 in West Winfield, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Pauline Talarico Leo Grande. She attended West Winfield schools and Graduated from West Winfield High School with the class of 1946. Mary was married to Thomas Branck on August 15, 1959 in West Winfield. Tom passed away on November 23, 2003. She was at one time employed by General Electric, Utica and later as a Sales Clerk at Melrose Market, Frankfort. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.
Mary is survived by her two daughters and sons in law, Theresa and Michael Tirado of Herkimer and Jayne and Greg Lang of Ilion; two grandchildren, Joseph and his wife, Renata Dunadee and Seaman Chrystina and her wife, Allie Tirado, serving with the USCG; two brothers and one sister in law, Anthony Leo Grande of Frankfort and Peter and Rose Leo Grande of Syracuse; her sisters in law, Patricia Leo Grande and Lucy Leo Grande; beloved canine companions, Kona, Stormy, Chris, Winter, Revi, Chichi and Mambo and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers, James Leo Grande, John Leo Grande, Joseph Leo Grande and Nicholas Leo Grande.
Her funeral will be held on Thursday morning at 9:45 AM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Ave., Frankfort and at 10:30 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church here a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena, pastor. Interment will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, Nov 15 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
Mary's family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses, staff and residents of the Folts Home and her neighbors and friends at Shady Creek Estates for always being so kind to her during her stay and passing.
