Mary M. Pierce
Mohawk - Mrs. Mary M. Pierce, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 19, 2017 in her home with her family by her side.
She was born on Wednesday, October 6, 1922 in Boonville, the daughter of the late John and Catherine LaRock Burnett. Mary was married to Perry Pierce on July 23, 1938 in St. Joseph's Church, Boonville. Mr. Pierce passed away on August 3, 1989. Mary was employed as an assembler with Kwik Kut in Mohawk for many years. She was a communicant of The Church of the Annunciation.
Mary is survived by two sons and two daughters in law, Jack Pierce of Mohawk, with whom she resided; her daughter in law, Becky Kasper of Ilion; and Nick and Jane Pierce of Florida; three daughters and one son in law, Virginia Miller of Texas, Janet Dunn of Central Square and Diane and Harold Pierce of Ilion; her grandchildren that were always with her, Renée Balio, husband Joseph Balio and their children, a very special great grandson and her pride and joy, Christopher and his wife, Elizabeth Pierce, Alex Matthews, Izzetta Matthews, Rob and his wife, Kim Pierce and their children, Jack Pierce, Derek Pierce, Ryan Pierce and Kyle Pierce, Scott and his wife, Linda Pierce and their son, Scott Pierce, and Megan Pierce; twenty four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, David Pierce; one brother, Fred Burnett and two sisters, Millie Hess and Catherine Nelson.
Her funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10:00 AM from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Ave., Frankfort, with the Rev. Gary Wilcox, officiating. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday evening from 4-7 at the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
