Cape Coral, FL - Ralph F. Long, 87, passed away March 20, 2013. He was born August 2, 1925 in Frankfort, to the late John and Rose DeMasi Long. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Louise Long and several brothers and sisters. He moved to Cape Coral in 1977 from Utica and was of the Christian faith. Ralph was a member of the Teamsters Union and Director and Past President of the Utica Bowling Association. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Leona; children, Lou Long and his wife Charlene of Washington state, Maureen Aceto and her fiancé John Brackett of Orlando, FL and Christine Yacco and her husband Frank of Corona, CA; his step-children, Don Loson and his wife Joyce of Old Forge, Stan Loson and his wife Carol of Schenectady, and Bruce Loson of Cape Coral, FL; one brother, Angelo Long of Frankfort; his beloved grandchildren, Brandon, Lauren, Ryan, Paul, Jayson, Jennifer, Justine, Frankie, Andrea, Lisa, Melissa, Sarah, Angela and Jamie and 16 great-grandchildren.
