Tresa L. Juliano
Frankfort – Mrs. Tresa L. Juliano, 75, of Frankfort passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 in Lutheran Home with her family by her side.
She was born in Nichols, New York on February 3, 1945, the daughter of the late Merritt and Amy Baldwin Vargason. She attended schools there and graduated from Tioga High School. She was married to Frank J. Juliano on April 11, 1964 in St. Patrick's Church, Owego. Frank passed away on December 17, 2003. Tresa was the Owner-operator of Tessie's Greenhouse, old 5S, Frankfort for many years. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.
Tresa is survived by three daughters, Joy and her husband, Anthony Lomazzo of Rome, Amy and her husband, Tim Halstead of West Monroe and Elizabeth Juliano of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Tiffany Taylor with Rob Day, Anthony and his wife, Sydney Lomazzo, Ashley and her husband, Jerry Guyer, TSgt Jessica and her husband, 2dLt Bryan Sheridan serving with the US Air Force, Abril and her husband, Michael Palmer, Mario and his wife, Rebecca Juliano, Christopher Lomazzo and his fiancée, Madalin Nelson; three brothers, Merritt Vargason Jr. of Athens, PA., Gary Vargason of Nichols and John Vargason of Sayre, PA; four sisters, Ethel Strong of Owego , Lois Holmes of Spencer , Linda Cole of Owego and Mary Alverado of Ithaca; her in laws, Toni and Neal Covey of Clinton, Marion Reagan of Utica and Mindy Juliano of Ghana, Africa and several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Leroy Vargason and Jim Vargason and one sister, Salva Jean Archibald.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort. In keeping with current guidelines, a face covering will be required and social distancing will be practiced.
Tresa’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses and staff of the Lutheran Home for the wonderful care and kindness shown to her during her stay and passing.
