New Hartford - Clinton - Mrs. Josephine Enea, 101, of Clinton passed away Monday, January 21, 2013 in Parklane Rehabilitation Center, West Chester, PA with her family by her side. She was born in Frankfort on January 23, 1911, the daughter of the late Paul and Concetta Minosh Conigliaro and she attended Frankfort schools. She was married to Joseph A. Enea on June 5, 1937 in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort. Joseph passed away on February 11, 2008. Josephine was employed as a young lady by Union Fork and Hoe, Frankfort. Following her marriage, she and her husband, Joe owned and operated several businesses together including; Miniature Golf and Driving Range, Seneca Turnpike, Mohawk Coffee Company, Whaley Lake Marina and Piggly Wiggly Drive Inn Restaurant, Deerfield and the Mohawk Fish & Poultry Market, Mohawk St., Utica, until retiring in 1959. Josephine is survived by her children, Agatha Cittadino of Utica, Philip and his wife, Lena Enea of Phoenix, AZ and Paul Enea of Westchester, PA; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by eight brothers, Joseph Conigilaro, George Conigilaro, John Conigilaro, Dominick Conigularo, Anthony Conigliaro, Peter Conigilaro, Paul Conigliaro and Angelo Conigliaro and one sister, Anna Camarata. Her funeral will be held Monday morning at 10:00 from the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:30 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Leo Potvin and assisted by Deacon James Bower. Spring interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday morning from 9:00 until the time of services.
