To the Nieman Family,
We just recently learned of the passing of your dear mother, wife and grandmother, Rose. We'd like to extend our sincerest condolences to you and to let you know that Rose was a dear friend to my mom while they shared a room at Clark West. May you all be comforted at this time, and may Rose rest in peace.
Sincerely,
The Family of Mrs. Lealer Bowens

When I became engaged to Terry, I remember his cousins warmly welcoming me into the family. Rose was definitely a part of that, and at the wedding shower, she was the one who gathered the bows and helped to make the "bridal hat." She always had a smile on her face, and I remember her as a loving mom. We are both glad to know Rose's pain is over and she is with her Lord. May God be with her family in their time of loss.

Rose was a very special and helpful friend to us for several years while we were with our Momma on Clark West at St. Luke's Home. We had a lot of fun together at the Red Hat Society meetings. Her alertness and sense of humor were a positive influence on all of us, residents, visitors and staff. The world is a lesser place without her smile. We feel saddest for her "men" who visited very often and tried to do everything they could for her (you know who you are). Rest in peace, Rose. We'll miss you. Angela and Jim Brooks

Mr. Nieman, Tina, Army, Amy, Brian, and Family,
I am so sorry hear of your loss. I went to school with Army, Tina & Amy. I can remember Mrs. Nieman being at the school functions while we attended West Frankfort School. I can clearly remember her smile and how with a "Pretty Please" she would give me another piece of tomato pie or cookie even if I only paid for one. My Heart goes out to all of you, it is never easy to lose a parent, especially your mom, and Mr. Nieman, my heart goes out to you as well because Mrs. Nieman was your soul-mate. I hope that the traditions that she has past along to her children are continued with your children and families. May God Bless you all during this most difficult time, and hope that the memories that were made are able to ease your pain.
Respectfully,
Deanna Salvatore-Lercara
