She was the best hospital roommate anyone could have. Our friendship started with the birth of Carol and Danny. She was so easy to talk to, even when time went by without seeing each other it was as if it was only yesterday that we talked. She will always be in my heart. I always loved talking with Birdie at our family gatherings, the sweetest woman. Her Christmas cookies could or should have been in a cookbook. It is such a loss for everyone, especially her devoted daughters and grandchildren.
