Obituary of Waltraud Mary Klisch
Richfield Springs - Ms. Waltraud “Mary” Klisch, 79, of 265 State Rt 28 Town of Columbia passed away peacefully Sunday, April 9, 2023 with family, in Morgan Hill, California.
She was born in Mühlberg, Germany on November 18, 1943, the daughter of the late John and W?odzis?awa Filipiak and she lived and attended schools in Lotz’, Poland. She was married to Andrew Klisch in St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church on February 25, 1970. He passed away June 18, 2010. Mr. & Mrs. Klisch were owner and operator of the Old Mill Stone Tavern & Restaurant in the Town of Warren for over 45 years. She was a member of S.S. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church.
Waltraud is survived by his beloved one son & daughter in law, John and Dongmei Klisch of Morgan Hill, CA; her grandson, Harry; her sister, Alina Matuszak and her son Sebastian all of Poland; one uncle and aunt, Alex and Audrey Kustra of NY.
Her interment was on Saturday May 20, 2023 at 11:30 at SS Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery, with Father Vasil Dubee officiating. All funeral arrangements were made by the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi, & Burns Funeral Home. Perpetrations for Mary’s journey back to New York to be with her husband Andrew were made by Lima Campagna Johnson Funeral Home, of Morgan Hill. The family would like to give special thanks to her close friends for all their support they given her over the past several years.
