Marjorie Ferguson Covey
Frankfort - Marjorie Ferguson Covey, 95, of Frankfort passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 in St. Luke´s Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.
She was born in Utica, New York on May 17, 1928, the daughter of the late James and Frances Coram Ferguson. She attended Utica schools and later Proctor High School. She was married to Alan Covey on February 2, 1957 in Frankfort. Mr. Covey passed away in 1961. Marjorie was employed as a Secretary for Chicago Pneumatic, Utica, NY for many years. She was a former Member of Asbury Methodist Church, Utica.
Marjorie is survived by her beloved daughter, Kim Covey of Frankfort; two sisters, Doris Foster and Beverly Gado; one grandson, Jason Covey; one granddaughter, Nikki Covey; one great granddaughter, Jenna Covey and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Ronald A. Covey on February 3, 2023; two brothers, William Ferguson and James Ferguson IV and one sister, Frances Burdick.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, August 10, 2023 at 11:30 AM in the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort with the Rev. Robert Wollaber. Interment will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.
