Mrs. Mary P. Vore

Frankfort – Mrs. Mary P. Vore, 93, of Frankfort passed away Wednesday, September 4, 2024 in Wynn Hospital with her family by her side.

She was born in Frankfort on March 25, 1931, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Guilia Terras Pepitone. She attended Frankfort schools and graduated from Frankfort High School with the class of 1948 and later attended and graduated from Utica School of Commerce. Mary was married to Dominick Vore on April 14, 1951 in St. Mary's Church. Dominick passed away on May 27, 1994. She was employed as an Account Clerk at Union Fork and Hoe Co. until her retirement in 1993 after 30 Years of dedicated service. Mary was a dedicated communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church.

Mary is survived by two sons, Robert (Diane) Vore of Rotterdam and Richard (Diane) Vore of New Hartford; one daughter, Mary Ellen (Jan Davis) Vore of Rochester; her grandchildren, Robert Vore, Matthew (Andrea) Vore and Janina Vore; one great granddaughter, Mia Vore and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Pepitone and John Pepitone. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10:30 AM in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St. Frankfort with Rev. Paul Catena, Pastor officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no public calling hours.

In Lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, S. Frankfort St., Frankfort, NY 13340, Frankfort Volunteer Fire Department, 158 S Litchfield St Frankfort, NY 13340 or a charity of one’s choice. Envelopes will be available at the church vestibule.

Her funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.
