Felix “Phil” Rotundo

Sauquoit - Felix “Phil” Rotundo, 92, of Sauquoit passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 in Treasure Coast Hospice, Ft Pierce, Fl. with his family by his side.

He was born in Utica, New York on December 19, 1931, the son of the late Joseph and Dortha Alfred Rotundo. He attended Utica schools and graduated in 1950. He later attended Hartwick College and graduated from Utica College with the class of 1956. He was married to Lucy Talarico on October 27, 2001 in St. Thomas Church, New Hartford. Phil was employed as a Manager of Micro Electronics for General Electric, Utica until his retirement in 1990.  He was a Mason with Sauquoit Lodge 150, Utica Elfuns, former member of Sauquoit Rotary and a former member of the Sauquoit School Board and serves as President for two terms.

Phil is survived by his beloved wife, Lucy;  one son and daughter in law, Marcus and his wife, Genie Rotundo of Cleveland NY; Daughter(s), Linda Reade of West Eaton NY and Lisa Usitold of Springville NY; ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters, Maria Erkon and Dortha Rotundo
  

His funeral will be held later in the spring with interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Avenue, Frankfort.
