Mrs. Mary T. Maneen
Ilion - Mrs. Mary T. Maneen, 96, of 6 Miles Ave. passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in Folts Home with her family by her side.
She was born in Little Falls on July 1, 1919, the daughter of the late Joseph and Christina Visconti Lamanna and she attended Little Falls schools. She was married to James Maneen on September 11, 1948 in St. Joseph's, Little Falls. James passed away on July 21, 1993. Mary was employed by Union Fork And Hoe Co., Frankfort until retirement in January of 1983 after 23 years of dedicated service. She was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of Diamond Service Club of the Union, Fork & Hoe.
Mary is survived by three daughters, Linda Maneen of Ilion, Josephine and Gary Lesniak of Schuyler and Christine and Philip Christiano of Newport; four grandchildren, Melissa and her husband, Tim Lamb, Maria and her husband, David Maxwell, Jessica Lesniak and Gary Lesniak; four great grandchildren, Ryan, Justin, Isabella and TJ; two sisters in law, Rose Lamanna of Little Falls and Cece Lamanna of Alabama and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters, Rose Franceso, Angie Colangelo and Nancy Yacobucci and six brothers, Anthony Lamanna, Louis Lamanna, Patsy Lamanna, Larry Lamanna, Rocco Lamanna and Joseph Lamanna.
Her funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:45 from the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave. Frankfort and at 10:30 in Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Paul Catena. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-8 pm at the V. J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
