Herkimer - Mrs. Rose Marie Norejko, 95, formerly of Miller Ave., passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 in the Folts Home with her family by her side. She was born in Pompey, NY on June 18, 1916, the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Ella Sigler Goodnow and she attended Schuyler schools. She was married to William Norejko on April 21, 1945 in St. Joseph's Church, Herkimer. William passed away on September 26, 1962. Rose Marie was a Nurses Aide for Mohawk Homestead, Mohawk for many years until her retirement in February of 1976. In Rose's later years, she volunteered at the Pre School at St. Francis De Sales School, Herkimer. Rose Marie is survived by one daughter and son in law, Rosemary and John Dibble of Herkimer; three sons and daughters in law, William and Mary Norejko of Bethlehem, PA, James and Elizabeth Norejko of Mohawk and Paul and Cindy Norejko of Little Falls; her grandchildren, Jay and his wife, Maureen Norejko of CO, Tim and his wife, Tara Norejko of PA, Amanda Norejko and her husband, Ryan Candee of Brooklyn and Alicia and her husband, Robert Steele of Ithaca; seven great grandchildren, Abigail, Charlotte, Miranda, Ella, Aaron, Eamon and Evan; one brother, Edward Goodnow of Chadwicks and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Jess Goodnow and three sisters, Marjory Bowman, Marguerite Hudson and Edna Stone. Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of her family. There will be no public calling hours. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in the spring. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S.
