John and family-
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Your mom thoroughly embodied what a teacher should be-kind, caring, strict but fair. She was a true lady of strength and intelligence.

To the family: My husband and I extend our deepest sympathies to you in the loss of your mother. I knew your mother from church and also as one of the teachers my children had in high school. Our daughter Alison spoke highly of her, and our son Christopher used to moan about the work he had to do; but she had a positive impact on him. Our son was in the army when he died in July of this year, and your mother remembered him as one of her many students. Her compassion for us in our loss was comforting and I hope that we can do the same for you. God Bless.

Mrs. Coroniti was among my most exacting English teachers in high school. She was also among my favorite.
I still wince sometimes to think of specific instances when I displeased her (and when she let me know of her displeasure). She always seemed to demand my best efforts, and I felt her disappointment when she sensed I'd given less. Her warm praise melted my heart, and I think I felt then like she saw some kind of potential in me. Perhaps that's why I enjoyed being around her so much -- because I usually ended up feeling better about myself. She's one of the few teachers, too, who found reason to play Billy Joel to help teach points on poetry.
She has enriched my life and provided a wealth of fond memories that I think back on often. Thank you for sharing her with the rest of us.

To Mary, John and Family:
I send my sincere condolences to you in this difficult time. Your mom holds a very special place in my heart. I have fond memories of always going by her classroom to say hello and also walking up to your house to hang out and see your dog (the one that bit me on the lip!!) She was a wonderful woman and God is lucky to have her now; alongside your sister Gina and your Dad. God Bless

To the family of Virgina: I had the pleasure of sharing a room with Virgina at the Mohawk Valley Rehab. While I only knew her a short time, She expressed her faith in God. I would like to leave the family with the scripture found in the book of JOHN (John 5:28)
"Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming when all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."
I know I look forward to seeing Virgina when she is called out in perfect health at the time that...."No resident will say, "I am sick."
Love,
Loretta Green

Virginia was my High School classmate. She was the one you could count on to be honest and friendly, never petty or difficult.
She had too many difficulties in her later years with the death of her husband and daughter and her illness, but, was an inspiration in the way she handled the adversity with strength and resolve. She gave others strength in her sorrow.
Virginia is a person who will be remembered for her strengths and live in our hearts.

I knew "Mrs. Coroniti" as "Gina's mother" and as a teacher at IHS. I had the pleasure to work with her for a brief time in 1996. She was a wonderful lady with high standards to teaching students. I pray for the family and friends she leaves behind. We should all take comfort in her entry into heaven with Gina and our lord God.
