Herkimer - Mrs. Ida M. Liscio, 91, of 233 William St. passed away Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Valley Health Services, Herkimer.
She was born in Herkimer on April 2, 1920, the daughter of the late Dominick and Lucia Lapone Franchino and she attended Herkimer Schools. She was married to Rocco Liscio on July 7, 1951 in St. Anthony's Church. Mrs. Liscio worked as a Sewing Machine Operator for Allegro, Little Falls until her retirement. She was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church, Herkimer.
Ida is survived by her beloved husband, Rocco Liscio; one son, Nicholas Liscio of Herkimer; one daughter and son in law, Bernadette and Richard Roberts of Nashville, NH; her grandchildren, Dominica Liscio, Richie Roberts and Andrew Roberts; one great-granddaughter, Kiara Roberts; her in laws, Agnes Liscio, Sue Barone and Mike and Lena Liscio as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, Harry Franchino; 3 sisters, Madeline Franchino, Vitie Franchino and Felicia Franchino; her daughter in law, Cheryl Green Liscio; her great-grandson, Devin Logan; and her in laws, Margaret Richie Franchino, Pat Liscio and Al Barone.
Her funeral will be held privately at the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home at the convenience of her family. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public calling hours.
