Herkimer - Ms. Louise T. Volpicello, 85, formerly of Dewey Ave. passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 in Valley Health Services. She was born in Herkimer on June 24, 1926, the daughter of the late Gaetano and Felicia Fiorentino Volpicello and she attended Herkimer Schools. Louise was a seamstress for Daniel Green and later for Allegro, Little Falls, for many years. She was a communicant of Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church. Louise is survived by two sisters and one brother in law, Rose Maiolo and Josephine and her husband, Rocco Losito, all of Herkimer; her nieces and nephews, Rocco and Karen Losito, David and Mary Beth Losito and Lu Ann Losito and her companion, Ed Bucciero; her great nephews and nieces, Rocco Losito III, David Losito, Michael Losito, Joseph Losito, Mary Losito, Rachel Losito, Meghan Kennedy, Jaime and her husband, Stewart Mahler and Heather Kennedy as well as several cousins. She was predeceased by three sisters; Marie Fallon, Corsignana Lena Volpicello and Anna Volpicello; two brothers in law, John Fallon and Samuel Maiolo; one niece, Theresa Losito and one nephew, John Fallon. Her funeral will be held Monday morning at 9:00 AM from the Petykiewicz, Iocovozzi & Burns Funeral Home, 329 S. Washington St., Herkimer and at 9:30 AM in Sts. Anthony and Joseph Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Lawless. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
