Viola, Sorry to hear about Lou's passing. I was a supervisor under Lou at Sperry Univac and without a doubt he was the best boss I had in my thirty years there. I knew Gil pretty well growing up in Ilion. Please give him my regards. Babe Lang Salt Lake City, Utah

Lou & Suzanne, So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I still can see your mom & dad coming into National Auto when I worked there & just striking up a conversation about anything. Plus whenever I went to Sally's they always stopped me to talk. Good people!

Vi, Artie, Louie and family,
So sad to hear of my second dad's passing. Have spent the weekend sharing very funny Big Louie stories with my kids. Remember the bbq's we'd have in the backyard, roasted peppers and onions on the grill and him playing the guitar??? fun, fun, fun memories! Even though we're far away, the many years of memories I treasure, as you all being my second family, are the true treasures of my heart forever! You boys were my protectors and brothers growing up, Vi, you taught me valuable life virtures that I still share with young girls always!!! You know what they were!! And I've never eaten better Italian food that you would cook for us every day....... Big Lou always treated me as the daughter he never had. He always made me feel safe and loved. I pray for your hearts to be comforted and healed. I pray for you all to remember the BIG life that he lived, the tremendous love he had for all of you and the many years of great memories!

I can always envision Lou extending a large smile and a hearty handshake. He always showed genuine consideration with what was happening in your life and was happy to be a part of it. The real connection that was so very obvious between him and his wife Vi will probably be the strongest memory that I will always keep with me. He will certainly be missed but the lessons he showed by example will always live on. Thank you. He and his family are in our prayers. -- David Schneider

Vi and Family,
Lou was one of the nicest men I ever met. I worked with Lou at Crown, and it was a pleasure working for both of you guys at the Township Cabin, the patience you both had putting up with a young wild thing like me! How the years have flown--and I regret not stopping in to bug you guys on my way out to Warren Center. Please know that you both have always been in my prayers, as you both are such special people. I know that Sam is there, welcoming his Dad with open arms, a hearty laugh, and a story to tell. I miss him, too. You are all in my prayers.
