We didn't know Linda for a long time, but she immediately welcomed us into her life. She treated our children as though they were her grandchildren and invited them to call her grandma Linda. Both Simon and Oliver agree that she had the "best pancakes ever!!" Linda was a very generous and caring person. She even got up in the middle of the night to wish us a safe flight back to Canada. She will truly be missed by all. Today and always, may loving memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength.
Love,
Caroline Kuhn-Scime, Scott, Simon, and Oliver Scime

To All of Linda's family, So very sad to hear the news of the sudden passing of Linda. The beautiful pictures posted show the love of family Linda had, and a sparkle that exuded such happiness in her life. I have fond memories of many wonderful summers going up to visit Jean and Angelo, riding Smokey and Sheba, when staying overnight at "The Papa Farm" of my Aunt Ginny and Uncle Amelio. The times shared there will always be very special to me, and mostly the generosity and kindness felt all around. I extend my deepest sympathy to all, and special thoughts and prayers to Jean, who I always admired so very much. Wishing you strength and support in the upcoming days. Love, RoseMarie Cushman-Light

Linda's love created a wonderful and uniquely close immediate family unit. My brother, who is a soft ware genius, in my opinion, will be designing a tribute site, to his wife, with his daughters, and will link you in. Linda was a devoted Mom who encouraged and praised and blessed her daughters, as a Mom should do. Linda never spoke an unkind word about them, she believed in them, so they could believe in themselves too, as a Mom should do. They matured into wonderful women. Jessica had the biggest prettiest eyes a baby ever had, and they are even prettier now. Jennifer would melt into your arms as a baby, and she is as loving now. They have wonderful memories to share, from the Jersey shore and everywhere, but they need a little time for healing from grief, and to collect their thoughts. Mary Ellen

So very sad about Linda's passing. We had so many great times as kids on her dad's farm and during High school. Rode my bike there a lot. Loved Linda's mom and dad. This is so weird that I am thinking of this. but One of my best memories is going trIck or treating and we always went to Jean's and Angelo's. One year my mom (and I was young 10 or so) and my mom dressed me as a pregnant bride and Angelo had such a fit when we got to their house-was too funny. This memory just popped into my head. I send my deepest condolences to Pete, and the entire family. Pete was the love of her life. So glad they spent their lives together. She is in heaven hugging her son and dad and watching over all of you. God bless you all. Love Paula Schmidt Aversa
