Lovely lady, She and her mother were both great people. Nelli always offered a cold drink, and something to eat. Her kindness was much appreciated. May she rest in peace in Gods hands.

We were very saddened to hear the news of Nellie passing on. As everyone here has said, she was always a positive person and a pleasure to be around. She told me once that the word "tired" was not in her vocabulary, and I interpreted that as her trying to say that life was too short to take a break from enjoying it. We will miss her dearly, but strive to live our lives as positively as she did.

Our deepest sympathy to Nellie's family. Nellie was a bright spot always when visiting family in Frankfort. She was always positive, kind and ready for a chat on any topic. She welcomed you if you had only a minute or if you could visit for a longer time. She and her mother and sister Anne were delightful always to share time with.
She will be missed but no doubt, is in heaven catching up with loved ones.

How saddened I was to hear about Nellie's passing. I had known Nellie for many years prior to her coming to the nursing home. Her stories about Vinny's Market never got old. The 4th floor at MVHCC will never be the same. I loved our chats and that feisty spirit she had. Rest in peace Nellie, you will be missed!

I was very saddened to hear about Nellie's passing. Nellie was a wonderful and charming woman who touched many hearts. Nellie was really someone who lived everyday to the fullest. While I know that words are only a small gesture of support, I want you to know that her spirit has touched many people's lives as it has mine. While working with her at the nursing home in several activity groups and special outings she taught me several values that I will always remember. I will also always remember the laughs that we shared together. Nellie had a heart full of gold and she will always be remembered in my heart.
With my deepest sympathy,
Miranda Mika

While visiting our mother at MV Nursing Home we got the pleasure of meeting Nellie. She was an avid Yankee fan, so we had many talks about baseball. Yet, it wasn't just about baseball. We enjoyed her company so much, she will forever be in our hearts. We only wish we could have met her sooner. God bless.
