Shelton, CT - Mrs. Josephine Egnaczyk of 57 Wesley Dr., Shelton, Connecticut, formerly of First Ave. Ext., Frankfort was called to be with Christ on November 20, 2010. She was born June 23, 1921 in Dudley, PA to the proud parents, Angeline and Frank Kolasa. Josephine graduated early at the age of 16 in 1938 from Boonville High School and went on to graduate from Canton College with a degree in Nutrition. She was married to Rudolph Egnaczyk on October 6, 1942 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boonville. She was employed as a dietitian for the New York Bakery and later as a Loan Officer at the Norstar Bank in Frankfort. She loved flowers and enjoyed many years active in the Mohawk Valley Garden Club. Josephine served as a member of the Altar Rosary Society of St. Peter and Paul Church in Frankfort and the Fortnightly Community Association. She is survived by her beloved children, Dr. Gregory Egnaczyk and his wife, Roberta of Shelton, CT and Cindy and her husband, Al Fuller of Marietta, GA who adored and loved her immensely. She is the proud grandmother of Sarah and her husband Matthew Hasselbeck of Seattle, WA, Dr. Gregory Egnaczyk and his wife, Heather of Durham, NC, Alison and her husband, Robert Sammon of Shelton, CT, Tiffany and her husband, Alexander Fisher of Chicago, IL, Jennie Fuller of Asheville, NC, Douglas Fuller of Charlotte, NC and Michael Fuller of Athens, GA. She cherished her seven great grandchildren, Annabelle, Mallory and Henry Hasselbeck, Ava and Luke Egnaczyk, Xavier Fisher and her newest love, Robert Gregory Sammon. She leaves behind her beloved brother and sister in law Ed and Audrey Kolasa; her in laws, Myron and Linda Boc and Ted and Doris Egnaczyk as well as several nieces and nephews. Jo greatly adored her friends, especially Kay LaFleur and always showed others the meaning of giving unconditional love and support. She is now with her sister Mildred Boc and oldest brother John Kolasa celebrating everlasting life. Josie touched so many lives with her kindness, beautiful smile and is forever in the hearts of those who loved her. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 11:30 am from St. Joseph's Church, Boonville. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Boonville. There will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc., 203 Second Ave., Frankfort.
