Ilion - Ms. Jessie M. Burton, 90, of London Towers, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 10, 2015 in Mohawk Valley Health Care Center with her family by her side. She was born in Frankfort on December 14, 1924, the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary Aiello Lombardo and she attended Frankfort Schools. She was employed with for Univac in their Utica Plant for many years. Jessie is survived by one daughter and son in law, Michele and Garth Rivenburgh of Cromwell, CT; two sons and daughters in law, Michael and Janice Makohen of Frankfort and Richard and Susan Burton of Fort Thomas, KY; four grandchildren, Felicia, Richard, Mark and Brittany and one great-granddaughter, Aalyaha. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Burton in October of 1996, her son, Mark Makohen and her brother, Anthony Lombardo. A memorial service will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In keeping with Jessie's wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the V.J. Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Ave. Frankfort.
