Dearest Karen and Kenny,
On Father's Day, it seems the right time to thank you for sharing your father with me. Hunt was always with me during good times and difficult ones. When he would care for Phil and me on our way from Syracuse to Frankfort when my father was ill and the future uncertain, he would tell us things would be okay, make us laugh and sing Mr Bojangles with him or any Frank Sinatra song. We have so many fond memories of the parties in your backyard. My father and yours had a wonderful friendship. On my wedding day, he was the one to walk me down the aisle assuring me the entire time that Lou was with me that day. He was an incredible man! You took such good care of him and he loved you all dearly. It was a gift to have seen him recently, sharing memories and even though he was struggling still himself with his wonderful sense of humor and warm kind heart. He told me that he was going to see my father soon, I have no doubt that today they are with Mary and Bella in heaven at peace laughing like they did for so many years together again. My sincerest wish that God grant you comfort in knowing he is at peace. Love to you all, Chris Carona

Frankfort has lost a great citizen. A man that loved life and his friends. My prayers go out to his family expecially Karen & Ken. I can't tell you how much he was loved by his cousins, of which I am lucky to have been. I know of at least 2 of Hunt's cousins that idolized him. He was so loving and giving. His humor was 2nd to none. We had shared so many great times in the past and even though we have not seen each other in such a long time, he was always close to my heart and in my prayes. To all of Hunt's family my heart and prayers go out to. Hunt will be missed.

Karen,
My sincerest, heartfelt sympathy & condolences to you & your extended family. The years we shared as friends & being treated as a member of your family will always be memorable. It's no surprise that your father & mine spoke highly of each other. Besides poker, they were both great fathers, very handsome, distinguished, well dressed men with remarkable daughters. Just like you, I was truly blessed with the greatest parents in the world who lived their lives for their daughter & her family. It's that sincere trust & genuine love we received from our parents that's absolutely irreplaceable. I hope your father's passing was as peaceful as my mother's as opposed to being unexpected as my father's who was known to be too delicate to withstand emotional distress. I'm sure you did all that you could for your father as I did mine. I will always be grateful to Jesus to be given the strength & fortitude to take care of my parents. They truly deserved it. I wish I could ease your pain, but i can't tolerate being an orphan & especially knowing that my parents passed with only the love of a daughter & not a family. A truly heartbreaking mockery for them & me. I'll assure you that a day won't go by thinking of the wonderful, loving memories you shared & each time you do, they'll be right there in your heart. May the Lord grant you peace.
With sincere love, understanding & empathy,
Carol Jean

Additional Obit Info
Spent retirement years in Sebring Florida where he spent his days on the golf course. Loved parties and was blessed with so many wonderful friends. He moved back to Frankfort from Sebring after taking ill and then moved to NJ to be near his daughter. He missed his friends in Frankfort and talked to them often from NJ. While in Frankfort he passed time playing poker with friends and visiting with family. He found poker games in NJ and spent many an afternoon in the community room playing with his new friends. Frank was an avid Yankees fan and loved the Florida sunshine. He would often be working in his yard pruning his prized orange tree.
He had an uncanny sense of humor and always made people laugh often unknowingly. His personality just drew people to him, both old friends and strangers. He loved life and lived a fullfilled and happy one. He was such a big part of his children's life as he was mother and father to them for many, many years after his wife passed. There was no better father in the world as he lived his life for his family.
Special thanks to Valley Hospice in Paramus NJ for making his passing peaceful especially his two wonderful aides, Gail Marshall and Stephanie Edwards who took such loving care of him until his passing.
