Patty and Chuck, I want to talk about the quiet,shy way Eric touched my heart and soul. His eyes would just light up and smile that unique way. And boy, did he love the confusion at our house when him and Adam would hang out. And I could never believe how "giggly" those 2 could be. And music...did he love music...which fit right in with all of us Massouds. Please know how much my heart is full of thoughts and prayers for you both. Eric touched my life in a way I did not think any other young man could and thank you for letting him be such an integral part of my family, esp. Adam. God bless you and surround you both with His peace and strength.

To Eric's parents, Eric is an inspiration. He is the purest soul that we have ever know. His smile, his laugh and his constant happy nature will always linger in our hearts. My husband Adam spoke daily of his love for his friend and how inspiring he was to him. I would listen from afar the laughter and jokes that they would share on the phone, and sometimes think how two grown men could talk for hours like kids. I'm so happy that we...especially Adam had the honor to be known by and part of Eric's life. Thank you for the awsome job you did in raising the most honorable and loving person we've truly ever known. And on Adam's behalf, if there is ever anything we can do for you please know that we are here for you. Adam will always be there for Eric on Earth and in Heaven. We pray daily and rejoice in the fact that we know Eric is with the Lord...home...where we all will be one day. With great respect and love, Marytheresa Massoud

Dear Patti and Chuck, I don't understand a tragedy like Eric's death. I can only think that the Lord wanted and needed Eric more than those on earth. Although not having seen Eric for a long time, I fondly remember his beautiful smile, lovely curls and gentle way.
