I'm going to miss you so much Aunt Mary Ann. I always loved when you would come down and visit, especially when you came to our birthday parties. I will always remember whenever Gianni or I were bad, you would stick up your fist at us. You are in a better place now, and I love you so much. Thank you everyone for the love you gave to Mom throughout her life! She loved and cherished each and everyone of you! Mom's last wishes were that we celebrate her life and memory. She's in Heaven with Nana, Poppi, her gandbabies Arianna and Toran, her borther Frank " Sonny" and the love of her life my Dad Malcolm Joseph Elfgen. She's in the kitchen making pusties and dancing to Elvis.

Yesterday I lost my sister and good friend, Maryann. Maryann was the most loving and unselfish person I knew. If you had the pleasure of knowing her, you know what a giving and special person she was, always so generous with her time and love. We had many wonderful times when I was young. And in her later years, she spent many months every year at my house enjoying family and friends. We shared so many things together and I thank God that he gave me that time with her. Unfortunately our recent visits were at a nursing home where she resided as she was unable to walk. Her loving smile and joy upon seeing her niece was heartwarming. She had such deep love for all her family. When children, all her nieces and nephews would always say, " Aunt Maryann is the nicest." As I will not be able to share in her goodbye and funeral mass, I know that she knows how much I loved her. And I take comfort in knowing she will be happy again in heaven as she was as an angel on earth. Rest in peace, dear sister, I love you.

My beautiful Mom has gone to be with her parents, brother Frank, her grandbabies Arianna and Toran and the love of her life my Daddy Malcolm Joseph Elfgen. Mom was the sweetest most loving person on earth! Andy and I will miss her more than words can ever say! We love you Mom!!!
