Dearest Rose,
We said our usual good-bye in Sept. after a beautiful visit with you--not knowing it would be our last.
We left you with a sound mind, body and full of enthusiasm. You were looking forward to your garden and your next ride on that motorcycle. God bless you.
Thanks for the wonderful memories that I shall cherish.
You'll always have a special place in my heart.
Rest in peace.
Your cousin,
Ann Spatto Desmond

Dearest Rose: we shall all miss you. After you left your home to go to the Folts Home,it became a mystery to locate you and give you needed emotional and loving support. At St. Elizabeth's Hospital I began my daily vigil with you andprayed the rosary and the Divine mercy Chaplet and I knew by your smile,it was a comfort to you.It was imperative for youto receive the Last Rites and you received this anointing from Father La Falce.Rose, the day before you entered Paradise-I was holding your hand and you feebly raised my hand to your mouth and kissed it.I was overwhelmed by this gesture. What a gift and treasure you gave me.You were thanking me.Now the angels ,the Lord jesus, the Blessed Mother,St.Joseph,Padre Pio and the many saints surround you.
On the day of your funeral ,Rose,I had not been informed that family could visit the funeral home before Mass. I missed not having had a final opportunity to see you and it saddened me.
You have left a void in our hearts,Rose. You were unique. The Lord has had 91 years to fashion you into a precious jewel. We can select our friends, but we cannot select our family. You were truly sso dear and a blessingto us.We praise and thank God for having you as a part of our lives.
Rest in peace,dearest Rose

Rose,
I am going to miss our Sunday night calls! I know you are happy now, but I want you to know that Richard and have tried to contact you since January. When we finally found where you were, we were told no one was allowed to "talk" or "visit" unless we received "clearance".
Always know Rose, we never stopped trying to find you or stopped thinking about you! We tried to contact you so many times!!
We will love and miss you so much! Rest peacefully Rose! All our Love, Ronnie and Sue

Rose, I know you are now in a much better place than you have been since leaving your home--you expressed to me how unhappy you were. I will treasure all the long talks on the phone, going places & visits-especially being able to play bingo & take you outside on the patio for ice cream at the Folts Home 5 weeks ago. You are now at peace with Tony & Andy. You were the best Godmother anyone would want. I will miss you so much.

Dear Rose: This is a special day for you. You have reached your dream. There are people who always touch your lives. Rose you are one of those people, you allowed me the greatest gift of all in caring for you. This was a remarkable time for me. I wanted to share with your family a note that was shared with me at the time of my grandfathers death. The author is unknown:
Dont grieve for me, for now I'm free.
I'm following the path God has laid you see.
I took His hand when I heard His call.
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh,to love,to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
I found the peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joys.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
O yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full,
I savored much,
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief.
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts, and peace to thee.
God wanted me now,
He set me free.
Thank you Rose for the gift of you and to Gary and Rosalie I thank you that she had the opportunity to share her 90th birthday with all who loved her and she felt so blessed, this was the highlight of her life.

Mrs. J was like a grandmother to me, always taking an interest in my life. She always sent cards with wonderful notes for every birthday and holiday from the time I was a little kid until recently (a time span of 26 years!). I was sadden by the news of her passing, but am happy that she is finally at peace.

Mrs. Jinx was a true and wonderful friend to my Aunt Kate Favat; and I grew up with Andy. There was always something special about the family; the beauty of their inner souls, a smile that was inviting, a hint of adventure, and always kind.
Rest in Peace Mrs. Jinx, thank you for all the gifts you shared with so many.

I don't know what to say. My heart is sad, but my spirit is happy knowing that cousin Jinx is now reunited with her husband and son, Andy. Because I am a drummer, Jinx used to tell me all about Andy and how he loved his drums. She even took me to the drum corps competitions when I was a kid. This tear I shed with happy memories as I know you are now watching Andy play the drums now.
God bless you sweet lady.

Neil first met Rose when she brought Andy to college and we have kept in touch over these many years. Later, Phyllis and Neil finally had the oppotunity to finally visit with Rose. She was a remarkable women and always took an interest in how our children were doing. We will miss her letters, cards, and phone calls about her garden and the Frankfort weather. She is finally at peace and has joined her family that she dearly missed.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Rose. My husband was a roommate with Andy at Clarkson - where they became fast friends. We have treasured Rose's friendship since Andy's passing. We were so happy that she allowed us to name our son, Andrew (Andy) after her son. She will be missed, but the thought of her with her beloved husband and son puts a smile on our faces.

Rose, When I first heard the news I was of course sad, but happy at the same time, as I know you have been waiting a long time to be reunited with your beautiful son, husband and the rest of your family. I always loved hearing the story of how you helped with Dan's arm when he was a young boy. I was glad that we were able to get together quite often in the past few years and have our kids and the grand kids get to know you. We're glad you were able attend our daughter's wedding, and view the pictures of you at our wedding. God bless you, you were a special woman and we will always treasure the memories of you.

I was a good friend of Rose-I used to live next door with my mother when we lived in Carmilita's house in the early seventies-we remained good friends until the end. I will miss her very much- she is finally with her son whom she talked about all the time.
