Peggy and family. I am sorry for your loss and sadden to hear of Jim's passing. It's been quite some time since I have seen him but my mother would tell me what he had been up to over the years. He was a good friend in high school and I enjoyed the good times we had in football, varsity club, classes and the senior play we both (with reservations) agreed to be in. I am sure you all miss him dearly. I heard recently of his travels to Texas where I have been since 1976. Wish I could have visited with him. I am sure he is in a good place now as I read the other memorials. His positive and caring attitude was always there. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Jake & I had our first date on Valentines' Day in 1988, and we were united through God's grace from that day forward. Jake was sincere, humorous, unselfish and intelligent. He became the leader of our family through his quiet, reserved approach to life. He was my best friend. He was kind to those less fortunate, did not judge others, and always remained true to his values learned from his NY family.
With all my love and gratitude to his Mom & Sisters, David and Uncle Jack for taking him over the mountain that I could not. You should find peace in knowing that no matter where Jake went or lived, you were always in his heart.
Jake had a very full life, and experienced life exactly as he chose to. That is truely a blessing from God, and a blessing with whom Jake shared his life.
Good Bye Jake. We love you forever.
