I worked part time summers for the Town of German Flatts back in the early eighties as a college student, and remember Larry very vividly as a giant, soft spoken, gentleman. He came up in conversations frequently over the years as my friends reminisced about our youth; we greatly admired his calm, gentle demeanor, which was in marked contrast to his powerful physical presence and courageous history as a soldier. He was a great man. God bless Larry and his family, you are in my prayers.

As one of Larry's Charlie Company 4/21 brother I have followed his last days with concern and caring. Like the rest of his veteran brothers I share your sadness at his passing but also your thankfulness for his having been part of our live. My thoughts are with you all.

I locate Vietnam Veterans so that they can reconnect with the men they served with. One of the names that the men wanted me to locate was Larry Cote. I am so glad that I found him. He was admired for his bravery and kindness and he will be missed by his friends. May you be comforted by your memories of your brother.
